Tashaunda Dixon is a skilled Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the role. Tashaunda came to AGDATA in January of 2018, and now heads AGDATA’s team of Business Analysts. Here’s how Tashaunda and her team help our clients achieve their goals…
Q: How would you describe your role as a Business Analyst?
A: The role of a Business Analyst is to understand the needs of all AGDATA stakeholders, both internally and externally. What that means is that I’m responsible for understanding the vision or direction our clients want to go, translating that vision into “AGDATA” terms, and then organizing our internal teams in a way that allows everyone to work together to drive the execution of those client needs and deliverables.
Q: What does a day in the life of a Business Analyst look like?
A: We are problem solvers who, in order to drive client success, must pull from the expertise across the organization and keep our teams informed of how their individual tasks coalesce into the desired client tool. Being able to communicate effectively across multiple mediums is key!
Q: How do you interact with our clients?
A: When we interact with clients, our main focus is understanding the goals they are trying to accomplish. Every client has a unique way of describing where they want to go, and how they want to get there. What we do is help break that vision down into tasks that our internal teams can understand and complete.
Q: What is the primary goal of our Business Analyst team?
A: The primary goal of our team is to demonstrate to our clients that we understand their goals, and that we have to ability to carry that vision from inception to end product, without sacrificing, or losing sight of what it is they are trying to achieve.
Q: Why work with AGDATA?
A: We are a business comprised of problem solvers, backed by intelligent and caring leadership. We have exceptional knowledge and understanding in this space, and we actively invest in the time and resources it takes to continue to grow and understand the market, and the challenges our clients face.
