Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show 2020
Recently, two of our Animal Health representatives, Rod Hutcheson and Beth Stelzleni headed out to San Antonio, Texas to attend the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association annual convention and trade show on February 5th through the 8th.
After the event, our Animal Health Account Executive Beth Stelzleni said, “NCBA is one of my favorite trade shows to attend every year due to the comradery and laid-back atmosphere. It is such a great educational opportunity, and great for networking and building relationships. It’s always fun to discover new products and services and watch the industry transform!”
This convention is really the “Super Bowl” of the beef industry. There were 8,000 attendees, predominately producers. Every level of the industry is represented – from the seed stock producer who is focused on genetic improvement to cow-calf, stocker and feeding operations. There were sessions regarding topics in the beef industry including sustainability, environmental stewardship, and presentations from industry producers.
“There is no other opportunity in this industry to interact with the number of influential members of the industry than this event. This truly is a great industry that is made up of great people. It’s an honor to be able to walk the halls with the people who work day in and day out to bring a safe, abundant supply of beef to not only the US but the world ” Rod Hutcheson, AGDATA National Account Manager Animal Health.
